I imagine Bella as intelligent, bookish, awkward, and full of inner life — different from how some people picture her. Edward, on the other hand, besides his looks (young and beautiful), carries a certain maturity within him.

I want to capture the feeling of Forks in the books: The weather, the green everywere, how Bella takes care of her father by cooking meals and cleaning, how she enjoys reading, and how she has personal interests beyond Edward.
